The spaceBuilt in 1910, "Orange Street Tangerine Bungalow" is a 600 square foot apartment next to its sister "Clementine Bungalow." This duplex cottage-style home was lovingly, completely restored in 2022 with updated modern amenities with a dash of whimsy, color, Hot Springs history, and fun. The space is truly delightful, feels happy and cozy, yet also uncluttered and roomy, with surprises everywhere to delight.
Enter through a shared front porch with free on-street parking directly in front, or in one private space directly in back, with a private back door with the same keypad code as the front door. Features a generous front living room, full kitchen with a small eat-in dining table for two, bedroom with queen bed, and full bathroom. Access to laundry room with washer and dryer is available upon request from the host at no charge.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a refrigerator, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and it is fully stocked with cookware, dishware, cups, glasses, and utensils. The bedroom includes all linens and bathroom includes all towels and amenities. Flat-screen Smart TV in the living room, free Wi-Fi throughout, and exterior security cameras. Central heat and air with guest-controlled thermostat and new on-demand water heater so you never run out. Iron and ironing board in the laundry room.
The front door is secured by a keyless remote deadbolt with keypad and your dedicated access code for self check-in. The back door keypad has the same access code as front door.

Guest accessAmple free street parking directly in front. Private one-car parking spot in the back. Most guests choose to walk around downtown and within a few blocks of Central Avenue District and all of the historic area is within one mile, including the biking/hiking trails. Oaklawn Racing & Casino is less than two miles away and easier to drive, or five minutes via tax or Uber/Lyft. If visiting lakes it is best to drive.
Additional notesLike many downtown settings experiencing revitalization, Orange Street and the surrounding blocks are a mix of beautifully restored properties together with some yet to be renovated. Right around the corner, Ouachita Avenue has new investment energy with the opening of Splash Wine Bar, Chrysalis Day Spa, SQZBX Pizza, and the Colorado Grill.
